Year 2

Year 2 2023 - 2024

 

Welcome to Year 2! I am Miss Fisher and I teach the class on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Year 2 is a really important year for really getting grips with some of the basics - such as learning our 2, 5 and 10 times tables and basic number facts, securing our punctuation in our writing and learning a range of spelling strategies. We want to encourage the children to become more independent readers and develop that love for reading -  I love sharing some of my own favourite books with the class, such as 'Fantastic Mr Fox' and 'The Owl who was Afraid of the Dark'. 

 

Hi, I am Mrs Edge and I am the class teacher in Year 2 on a Thursday and Friday. 

On these 2 days, alongside our English and Maths lessons, we will have our R.E and P.S.H.E / well-being lessons.
