Welcome to Year 1  

Welcome to Year 1. In our class, we are taught by Mrs Astles on Monday, Thursday and Friday and Miss Grehan on Tuesday and Wednesday. Ms Scoffin also supports us all week too. We also have a number of support assistants working with children through the week; Mrs Maddock, Miss Cross, Miss Hughes and Miss Summers.

Year 1 is a big step from Reception but we make lots of fun with our learning, including Rainbow Challenges that extend our independence. We spend a lot of time on our Phonics, Reading and Place Value in Year 1 to help us prepare for our years ahead.
