A Very Warm Welcome... to Edleston Primary School

On behalf of the staff, governors and children at Edleston Primary School, I am delighted to wish you a very warm welcome to our website. Our website aims to give you an insight into the life of our school. You will find examples of the varied and exciting experiences enjoyed by our children, as well as up-to-date information for parents and anyone wishing to find out more about our school.

Edleston is a popular multi-cultural community school with a warm, caring ethos. We are proud of our school and believe our children can be anything they want to be. All our children are valued and respected as individuals, and we work hard to ensure they all achieve their potential and passionately believe that together – we make a difference.
Our school prides itself on the warm, happy, caring environment for learning created by the staff and the children. We are strongly committed to nurturing each and every child and to supporting and challenging them to achieve their best. We aim to work in close partnership with parents to ensure the best outcomes for all children. We instil a passion for learning in all our children; we want the children to get the most out of life and be ambitious for their futures.
Our most recent OFSTED recognised that pupils:

“…  feel well cared for at this school… are happy…. they look after each other and they behave well. and have strong and supportive relationships with their teachers and with each other.”
[February 2020]

At Edleston, we are extremely fortunate to have innovative, inspirational staff, governors, parents and children who have an excellent attitude to learning. Children thrive when the entire community come together and we believe that a good relationship between pupils, parents, staff and the local community is vitally important to help each child achieve their best.
