Meet our Governing Board.....

Miss Kirsty Goldsmith - Headteacher

As part of my responsibilities as the Headteacher, I am a member of the governing board. Over the school year, we meet up regularly to consider the strategic aspects impacting Edleston Primary and our students. In this role, I keep the board informed about the strengths of the school and any areas for improvement. We work together to deliver the school development plan, finance and to ensure the school is running to the very best of its ability. Through the day-to-day management of the school, I implement the strategic priorities of the governing board.

Mrs Rubie Ibuola nee Targema-Takema  - Co-opted Governor

I have been in academia for the last 7 years, my first degree was in software engineering and my second was  a research degree in Educational technology. My passion and interest has often been at the intersection of Education and Technology and it was such a pleasure to join Edleston Primary School in hopes of moving the school further in this area. I have mostly been in higher education, but my PhD focused on developing a framework that supports technology integration in Primary schools. This has increased my desire to see more primary schools across the country do better in utilising technology to improve teaching and learning. I currently work as a lecturer in QA where I lecture technical courses, and in my free time I blog, bake and play basketball
