Mrs Whitmore is our Catering Supervisor and she is helped by Mrs Kertolli, Mrs Burgess and Miss Cooke. Mrs Whitmore likes to dress up to serve our lunches so don't be surprised if you see her in witches costume or dressed as a minion!

If your child has a packed lunch from home please remember NUTS (tubs or packs in chocolate bars etc) are not permitted due to some children having serious nut allergies.

Children can bring in a piece of fruit or a healthy snack for break time such as a cereal bar if they wish or they can buy a healthy snack from our kitchen.  We have orange juice, apple juice, forest fruits, toast, bagels and a bacon bap on a Friday.   The children can also have a piece of fruit from school which is provided by the Government as part of The Healthy Schools Initiative. This is for Foundation/Key Stage 1 children only. The Government also provide children with free milk in school up until they reach their fifth birthday. Payments for snack are accepted online via School Gateway. Please ensure school always has an up to date email address for the person who will make online payments for your child.  If your child has snack please pay before 8am either in advance or on the day. Snacks are found using the payment section. Please ensure you do not order a school meal instead of snack as these are not free!

Children are not permitted to bring sweets, chocolates or fizzy drinks in any form to school this includes if you provide a packed lunch from home for a school trip.

Meet our fabulous lunchtime team.

The midday supervisors support our children every lunch time. They help the younger children with their lunch and are available for the older children in the eating areas.

Once outside the midday supervisors are in each key stage. They have a daily schedule of activities and games. We have designated quiet areas so children may read. During the summer months we use the field. We have cricket, tennis, football but to name a few. We have benches around the field where children can relax and draw, read or just chat with their friends. During the rest of the time or when it’s too wet to use the field we have plenty of structured activities on the playgrounds and we are fortunate to have our new all-weather pitch which is really popular with the children! We have daily fun and active lunchtime activities run by Crewe Alex on the playground.
