Welcome to Year 1  

Welcome to Year 1. In our class, we are taught by Mrs Astles on Monday, Thursday and Friday and Miss Grehan on Tuesday and Wednesday. Ms Scoffin also supports us all week too. Miss Tomkinson also works in our class.

Year 1 is a big step from Reception but we make lots of fun with our learning, including Rainbow Challenges that extend our independence. We spend a lot of time on our Phonics, Reading and Place Value in Year 1 to help us prepare for our years ahead.
