Welcome to Hazel Class

I am Mrs Edge and I will be teaching you all year 

We are very much looking forward to moving to Year 3 with you.

We recognise it can be a big move for some children coming into KS2, so we have lots of strategies and activities to make the transition as easy as possible and the children settle very quickly. 

In Hazel Class we focus on key maths skills such as knowing our 3x 4x and 8x tables and becoming much more confident with place value and calculations. In English we develop our skills in writing, presenting more complex sentences through various ways, including using adverbs, prepositional phrases and speech. 

We will be supported in class by Mrs Horgan during the day.
